Sustainability is one of the main challenges of the aviation industry, and the company SkyNRG is working towards a greener future for aviation. Therefore, Aviation Department has invited SkyNRG to give a lunch lecture about their expertise, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and its production. SAF reduces CO2 emissions by 85 percent compared to kerosene. SkyNRG aims to build regional supply chains, called Direct Supply Lines, and at the moment Europe’s first SAF plant is being constructed in the Netherlands.
