Join us for an inspiring in-house day at TNO Space, where we’ll explore cutting-edge technologies in satellite instrumentation, optical manufacturing, and optomechatronics. From Sentinel-5 to freeform optics and laser satellite communication, discover how TNO helps shape the future of space exploration and high-tech industry. ---- The in-house day begins with a welcome by the VSV's member of honour and TNO's Managing Director Arnaud de Jong, followed by an introduction from Kees Buijsrogge on TNO Space’s mission, business segments, and technological heritage. Janine van der Hilst will then take the stage for an interactive session highlighting key projects such as Sentinel-5 and Tango, using a College Tour-style format to explore the variety of roles within TNO. After a short break, participants will join guided lab tours, including a visit to the optics lab, where high-precision components are developed for laser satellite communication. You’ll also explore our optomechatronics facilities, where we integrate optics, mechanics, and control systems into robust instruments for space and high-tech applications.
