Wellbeing

Studying Aerospace Engineering can be quite tough. On this page, you can find resources for support offered by the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering, the TU Delft and the VSV, if you are experiencing any personal or study-related difficulties.

Academic counsellors

The Faculty of Aerospace Engineering has several academic counsellors who can help you with any issues or questions you might have. These may be study-related, such as the BSA or study planning, but also more difficult or personal matters. You can also reach out if you simply need someone to talk to. In any case, don’t hesitate to contact them! More information, including their contact details, can be found via the link below.

Wellbeing page TU Delft

The university offers support to all TU Delft students. An overview of everything available can be found on the student portal, accessible through the link below. There you can find information about support services, such as student psychologists and study tips. The page also includes helpful tools, such as an online wellbeing e-health tool. We highly recommend visiting the webpage—you might discover something useful you didn’t know about.

VSV board

It is possible that you have an issue and you want to talk to a student first. In that case, it is always possible to send an e-mail to the VSV board at vsv@tudelft.nl, message one of the VSV board members privately or walk up to them. We will try to help you the best we can; however, it is important to know that we are not in any way qualified to provide professional support. In most cases, we would advise you to contact the academic counsellors, as they are best equipped to help you as a student. Still, the option to contact us is always available, just in case.

Confidentiality persons

In case you feel unsafe, threatened, discriminated against or need someone to talk to, you can always contact one of the VSV confidentiality persons. They are there to listen to you and can help you explore possible next steps. All conversations you have with them are treated with complete confidentiality.

You can reach out by either sending an email to confidentiality-vsv@tudelft.nl or sending a message to one of the confidentiality persons directly:
