From Today You Will Need "Real ID" To Fly Within The US
As of today, passengers traveling on US domestic flights will now have to do so in possession of an identity document that is 'REAL ID' compliant. This introduction marks the end of a long and drawn-out regulatory saga that was initially planned to be completed two years ago, before the deadline for the rollout of the new regulation was extended. The rules also concern accessing certain federal facilities.
