Southwest Expands 2026 Schedule With Pair Of New Routes
After recently making the headlines for reversing its famous "bags fly free" policy, Southwest Airlines has now attempted to begin expanding its network amid a long period of organizational restructuring. The carrier today announced that it would add two new routes to its schedule, including nonstop service from Will Rogers International Airport (OKC) in Oklahoma City to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). In addition to this flight, the airline will also begin flying from Eppley Airfield (OMA) in Omaha, Nebraska, to San Diego International Airport (SAN).
