This Friday it is time! It is the first of May, meaning it is Lustrum month, in which we will celebrate the 75th Birthday of our beautiful society. For the Lustrum month of the VSV Leonardo da Vinci the 35th yearbook committee decided to arrange a postcard party!
And this is the plan: sign up FOR FREE on the online ticketshop of the VSV and fill in your current address here. You need to agree on the conditions of participation, being that your address will be shared with one fellow VSV member, so they can send you a card. You will be sent a LIMITED EDITION VSV postcard with someone’s address and then you can write them whatever you want!
This Monday Ilaria Roma, the Head of Systems & Concurrent Engineering at ESA Noordwijk, will join us to discuss the approach taken by large engineering institutions to systems and concurrent engineering, both in normal operation and during crises such as these. We are certain that this can help you, no matter where you are in your studies: this Q&A is sure to be useful during your normal Bachelor and Master projects, and in particular during your DSE. We hope to see you coming Monday, from 12.30 to 13.30!
This Monday the Women with Wings organizes the yearly movie night! It will start at 19:30 and will end at around 22:00. We will watch MAMMA MIA all together and there will be a quiz in which you can win a very nice prize! So grab your popcorn and sign up for free at the VSV ticket shop! After the great success of last year’s lecture, Ferrari is once again coming to Delft! Although this time in a virtual setting, two representatives, the Head of University Relations and an Innovations & Special Projects – Technical Office Responsible, will give a special online lunch lecture. The lecture will take place on the 27th of May during lunch (12:30 – 13:45h) via Microsoft Teams and is open for all interested students from all TU Delft faculties.
On Wednesday 27th May, BarCo is organising our very first event! Bakkleship beerpong is a stealth version of beerpong which you can only understand by experiencing it. In this version of the game, you play rounds of Battleship against your fellow students with some very exciting twists. Who knows, maybe you can even get some virtual pringles dops to attack fellow players with. Or even win a prize if you score high in the tournament! You can of course also play with a non-alcoholic beverage of your choice.
