Hi! My name is Lynn Vorgers and this year I am the Commissioner of Bachelor Affairs of the VSV 'Leonardo da Vinci'. Being responsible for Bachelor Affairs means that one of the main tasks is evaluating the courses that are taught at this faculty. Together with our Quality Control Groups also referred to as the B1, B2 and B3 committee (where B stands for Bachelor) I am responsible for the quality assurance of all the courses within the Bachelor. Based on the students' opinion, feedback is given personally to the lecturers about their courses! This feedback is really appreciated and therefore used to maintain the level of quality of our Bachelor and Master curricula.
I am also responsible for everything related to the faculty bar, 'de Atmosfeer'! Finally one of my biggest projects is the Da Vinci Satelite. This is an educational satellite we are planning to launch in 2024, which has the purpose to enthuse children about space. This is done by having an educational module we can distribute to schools, and by taking a very specific payload in the form of dice into space!
