On March 21st, Sander Kraijema, Maintenance Engineer RAMS/LCC, would like to talk about maintenance engineering, particularly focusing on the role of ME within new construction projects. ME ensures optimal maintenance programs based on the balance between performance, costs, and risks, for both existing and future equipment. Within new construction projects, ME focuses on the RAMS/LCC aspect, which stands for Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety, and Life Cycle Cost. We establish the RAMS/LCC specifications that the train must meet and ensure that they are realized accordingly.
